Funny thing: I was talking to my friend yesterday, about how 99% of the models that come in for studio classes are female, and that I've only drawn a male model once.

And then today in class our model was male. I was surprised he was a lot older (at least in his late 30s, perhaps early 40s), but good for him I guess. Certainly takes a lot of balls ( Read more... )

Sooo it's the third day of my block. I didn't teach at all today. It was Career Day for the intermediates.. so a bunch of people came in to talk to the kids about their jobs. This week seemed to go by really quickly.. but I thought it was a good week.

Heh so I never got around to making an official "welcome 2011" post, but it wasn't that special this year.

So I fail at keeping promises, but I have a legit reason for not posting. I've been productive during my break so far. I made a bunch of cool, pop-up Christmas cards. And did a drawing for the family I babysit. They insisted on paying me for the drawing but I told them it was a present lol.

Hmm end of another week. Didn't do much. I went in to tutor but that's it basically.

My drawing class starts at 8:30. Today, I was done class at 9:30 O_o. And that's because we didn't have a proper critique.. we just got into groups of threes to look at/talk about our drawings.
